Because of the high traffic level of trucks driving from the Harbour premises to their customers resulted in polluted streets a solution needed to be found. Because this raw material was both highly valuable and highly polluting two wheel washing systems are put in function on both truck exits. Unique for these wheel washers is that the trucks are rinsed with clear water permanently and that the spray water flows directly into the existing sewerage network and made reusable by their own water treatment plant.
